Thermostatic expansion valve

 Working principle

1.thermostatic expansion valve is used to throttle the flow of refrigerant by throttling device.

2.it maintain a constant degree of superheat(5-7)c

3.in the event of greater superheat the remote bulb sense  and throttling device open more thus increse the flow of refrigerant.

4.in case of low degree of super heat remote bulb sense and throttling device close.thus the flow of refrigerant will be less.

5. It make pressure difference between high pressure and low pressure side.

6.the degree of superheat can be adjusted by adjusting screw.
